Beyond Sanctity

練習將成見細分至無法一概而論的程度，深入且廣泛吸納各方見地，足以進入客觀而複雜的思辨，是非黑白的二元論再不具說服力。歷史洪流故我漫漫——揭露自詡品格清高者的面目，公平正義包裝下的權慾怵目驚心。

Practicing the breakdown of prejudices to an extent where they cannot be generalized, deeply and widely absorbing various perspectives, is enough to enter into objective and complex contemplation, where the dichotomy of right and wrong loses its persuasiveness. The torrent of history slowly reveals the true faces of those who claim moral superiority, with the disturbing reality hidden beneath the facade of fairness and justice.

事實一再自明不存在清白之人，絕對論者仍天真爛漫，「相信」二字便能塑造——救世主定能消除人間苦難，即使背叛戲碼歷歷在目仍舊不厭其煩樹立另一個救星。相對論者慣常立於事件邊陲冷眼觀察、等待發酵，在每個角色逐一登場前勿妄下判斷，並非玩味諷刺意涵而是回顧過往事件，忖度重蹈覆轍的軌跡。

The truth repeatedly reveals the absence of truly innocent individuals, yet absolutists remain naively hopeful, believing that the mere “belief" can shape—saviors capable of eliminating worldly suffering. Even when faced with clear evidence of betrayal, they persist in establishing another messianic figure. Relativists often stand on the sidelines of events, observing with a critical eye and waiting for developments. They refrain from premature judgments until each character takes the stage, not for the sake of mocking or irony but to reflect on past events and anticipate the reoccurrence of familiar patterns.

屬人的自利本質特定了動機的發展，但若能寬廣眼界抑制惡意蔓延的空間，延長思索至發言的時間，像時空旅人般遠眺著，操弄仇恨及對立的手便顯而易見。

The inherently self-serving nature of humans dictates the development of motives, but broadening one’s perspective and restraining the spread of malice allows for extended contemplation before speaking out. Like a traveler through time and space, the manipulation of hatred and opposition becomes glaringly evident.

在以公平正義編織的大義下追逐美好、盡善，反面則是排擠所謂醜陋、邪惡，排擠的手段，恰是極端醜惡、不堪入目。智慧的獨裁者擅長為支持者量身打造符合理想的進步氛圍，趁其沉浸於自由開明的想像中躡手躡腳逐步扭轉世界的面貌，待現實已明目張膽攤開眼前，才意識到天真誤了事，為時已晚。

In pursuit of goodness and righteousness under the banner of fairness and justice, the opposite entails the exclusion of what is deemed ugly and evil. The means of exclusion are themselves extreme and abhorrent. Wise dictators excel in crafting environments conducive to progress for their supporters, subtly altering the world’s landscape while they are lost in the illusion of freedom and enlightenment. It is only when reality unabashedly unfolds before their eyes that they realize their naïveté, often too late.

深刻體會事件的內涵有其複雜不可簡化之本質，觀察行為者的動機與目的，檢視自己思維的脈絡，謹慎看待倡議二元對立的思想，質疑於理無據的從眾信仰，追究事物的本質與道理。如此始能防範歷史重演。

A profound understanding of the essence of events lies in their inherently complex and unaltered nature. Observing the motives and objectives of actors, examining the context of one’s own thoughts, cautiously assessing the advocacy of binary opposition, questioning unfounded conformity, and probing into the essence and rationale of things. Only then can history be prevented from repeating itself.

人終將凋零而歷史生生不息，事件總是雷同而行為者不同，若能熟諳歷史便不受人們的面貌、言語蠱惑蒙蔽雙眼，所見僅有事不再有人。

While humans will eventually wither, history remains perpetually alive, with events recurring while actors change. Familiarity with history prevents individuals from being swayed by people’s appearances and rhetoric, leaving them to see only the events, devoid of personal biases.

活在現實現象裡，以民生為價值判斷之依歸，無所謂救世主，持續思考。

Living within the realm of reality, using the welfare of the people as the yardstick for judging values, there is no need for a savior, only continued contemplation.
