Day19

今天是我第19天去健身房運動。

Today marks the 19th day of my gym routine.

目前的鍛鍊是一週去四天,兩天有氧運動、兩天上肢和下肢重訓、穿插三天休息日。

如果有事情或身體不舒服,就會休息,但至少一週都會去兩次,維持有氧和重訓並重。

Right now, I work out four times a week—two days of cardio, two days of strength training for my upper and lower body, with three rest days in between. If something comes up or I’m not feeling well, I take a break, but I make sure to go at least twice a week to maintain a balance between cardio and strength training.

傳統 Tradition

這幾天剛把《The Big Bang Theory》影集看完,覺得自己體內的Sheldon魂還很有精力。

I recently finished watching The Big Bang Theory and found that the “Sheldon spirit” within me is still quite energized.

Sheldon非常重視被稱為「傳統」的儀式。

Sheldon places great importance on rituals he calls “traditions.”

穿不下的牛仔褲 Jeans That No Longer Fit

應該是過了28、29後就變得不愛穿緊身褲了,而那時已經把大部分的緊身褲都回收了。

I must have stopped liking tight jeans around the age of 28 or 29. By then, I had already given away most of my skinny jeans.

兩三年前買牛仔褲時又買了緊身褲,但穿的次數少之又少。前陣子又穿了一次,發現實在過了習慣束縛的年紀,雖然身材和體重都持平,但我內心已經不習慣穿著好看但不舒適的褲子。於是就毫不猶豫地把它放到舊衣回收桶了。

A couple of years ago, when I bought some new jeans, I got another pair of skinnies, but I wore them only a handful of times. Recently, I tried wearing them again, only to realize that I’m past the age of tolerating restrictive clothing. Although my body and weight have stayed the same, I’m no longer comfortable in clothes that look good but don’t feel good. So, without hesitation, I tossed them into the old clothes recycling bin.

職場雜感 生活小破事 Reflections on the Workplace and Little Stories from Life

在職場上接觸到的人彼此間年齡差距很大,最老的到民國40年次、次老的也有民國49年次,而辦公室偏年輕的則是民國85年次甚至更年輕的同事。

In the workplace, I encounter people of vastly different ages. The oldest were born around 1951, while the younger colleagues were born as recently as 1996, or even later.

夾在中間的我同時理解雙邊的想法,所以感到痛苦。

Being caught in the middle, I understand the perspectives of both sides, which causes me some distress.
